When we used the Perky-Pet glass feeder we found that it was a simple, functional product —an excellent choice for someone who just wants to feed the birds. It did have a couple of minor drawbacks though. First, we noticed that a full jar of nectar required sturdy support like a shepherd’s hook. We thought a flexible tree branch may not be strong enough to support this feeder. Second, the perch felt flimsy, which was surprising since the body was made of thick glass.
