True to its name, the L.L.Bean Wicked Cozy Blanket is hands down one of the softest blankets we’ve tested. Upon opening the blanket, we immediately wanted to wrap ourselves in its buttery material. The polyester fabric is double brushed, which makes it extra cozy while preventing pilling and shedding. This blanket can be machine washed and comes in a solid range of rich, neutral colors suitable for almost any living room or bedroom.

Right away, we were impressed by the quality of this blanket—it had no loose threads or imperfections, and the fabric draped nicely over our bed. While it’s not as thick as the other options we tested, we felt toasty while lying under it for five minutes. As the weather warmed up throughout the six-month testing period, we switched from lying beneath this blanket to lying on top of it, and it still proved just as comfortable. It also performed exceptionally well in our durability tests; after putting it through our washing machine and dryer multiple times, it became even softer and cozier than it was at the start. Several months later, we have no quality complaints.

The one area we felt this blanket could improve was its appearance—the color options are very limited, so if you don't like cream or blue, you might not find an option you like. Still, if you're looking for an outrageously soft and high-quality blanket, this is a great pick.
