Let’s be honest: bra shopping isn’t always the most fun experience in the world. It can be tricky to find a bra that offers style and support without causing you discomfort—but that’s where wireless bras come into play.
“Wireless bras can be incredibly comfortable, especially for women who feel restricted or pinched by underwire,” says Kimmay Caldwell, undergarment educator at Hurray Kimmay. “They offer support from gentle stretch to firm and secure but without the pressure of a wire digging into the skin.”
According to the expert, wire-free bras also tend to be very versatile and promote busts’ natural shapes, making them particularly great choices for everyday wear.
To find the best wireless bras on the market, we researched and tested a range of options ourselves, evaluating them on factors like comfort, support, value, and more. We also spoke to Caldwell to get her expert insight on how to shop for these bras and what factors to prioritize.

Of all the bras we tested, this organic cotton option from Third Love earned its place as our favorite. The ultra soft and comfortable unlined bra is perfect for all-day wear and will give you solid support for hours on end.
The fit is great for both small and large busts, too; our testers uniformly praised the bra’s lack of gapping, highly adjustable straps, and closure. Be aware, though, that while the bra is unlined, it’s not completely wireless, which may be a pain for some shoppers who prefer a totally wire-free look.
For those who don’t mind a bit of wire, though, this bra is a great choice. If you opt for the cotton material, you can choose from two neutral colors, but if you go for the silky microfiber instead, you’ll get eight options to pick from.
The size range is quite inclusive, going from 32A to 44H, and the bra’s wider-than-average band helps give it an extra dose of support. Our testers do wish that it had a small amount of padding, as there’s not much in the way of nipple coverage, but the lightweight and low-key design also has plenty of benefits.
